OSBI to Host Free Sexual Assault Awareness Symposium at NSU Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow, Okla. — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation will host its 2025 Sexual Assault Awareness Month Symposium on Friday, April 11, at Northeastern State University’s Broken Arrow campus. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the Administrative Services Building, located at 3100 New Orleans St.

The symposium, which is free and open to the public, aims to raise awareness about sexual assault prevention and improve outreach, resources, and response strategies across Oklahoma communities. Professionals from law enforcement, clinical services, advocacy groups, and community-based organizations are encouraged to attend.

Lunch will be provided to the first 200 registered attendees. Interested participants are urged to register early, as meals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Free parking is available in the West Parking Lot, just west of the Administrative Services Building.

Organizers emphasized the importance of public participation, noting that community involvement is critical to improving safety, support, and justice for survivors of sexual violence throughout Oklahoma.
