Anita Kay Noel, aged 70, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on July 31, 2026, in Vian, Oklahoma. Her life will be celebrated with a funeral service at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, followed by burial at Bush Cemetery in Marble City.

Born on October 5, 1955, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Anita was the cherished daughter of Samaria Webber Fields Weese and Squirrel Fields, Sr. She married Terry F. Noel on July 7, 1978, in Sallisaw, a loving marriage marked by enjoyable fishing and camping trips. Terry preceded her in death on September 3, 2011.

Anita’s greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, who she loved watching at their sports events. She was a valued member of the Stokes Smith Stomp Grounds and known for her exceptional fry bread.

She is survived by her son, Shelby Noel and Tawnya of Sallisaw, OK and her four adored grandchildren, Kenyan Hill, Elijah Hill, Baron Noel, and Kylo Noel, all of Sallisaw, OK. Anita also leaves behind her sisters, Karen Diemert and JC of Sallisaw, OK, Marlene Latta and Loyd of Vian, OK, Melissa Fields of Sallisaw, OK and Wyleah Fields of Oklahoma City, OK;; her brother Ray Fields of Sallisaw, OK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
