We welcome Community News, Business News, and Press Releases from citizens, organizations, and businesses connected to all three federally recognized Cherokee Nations: the Cherokee Nation (CN), the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI), and the United Keetoowah Band (UKB). If it matters to Cherokee people, we want to help you share it.

- Businesses and entities operating in Indian Country with news relevant to Cherokee citizens
Submission Guidelines
- Who can submit: Citizens, organizations, tribal departments, and businesses connected to the Cherokee Nation, Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, or United Keetoowah Band.
- Length: 100–600 words preferred. Longer press releases may be edited for publication.
- Tribal connection: Please identify your Tribal Citizenship and/or Nation, or your organization’s tribal affiliation, in your submission.
- Photos welcome: You may include photos with your submission. Please ensure you have permission to share any photos submitted.
- Accuracy: You are responsible for the facts in your submission. Cherokee 411 may follow up with you to verify details before publication.
- Deadlines: Submissions are published on a rolling basis. Time-sensitive announcements should be submitted at least 48 hours in advance.
- Availability: Submission of news does not guarantee publication. Cherokee 411 reserves the right to edit for length and clarity or to decline submissions that do not meet our community standards.
