Cherokee Nation Citizen
Heath Didier, 49, passed away on June 14, 2026, in Ketchikan, Alaska.
Heath was born on June 23, 1976, in La Grande, Oregon, to Gloria and Conley Didier. He was raised in
eastern Oregon and graduated from Ontario High School. Following his graduation, Heath honorably served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Okinawa, Japan, an experience that broadened his perspective and remained an important part of his life. He later graduated from Portland State University and continued to live in Portland Oregon.
Throughout his life, Heath was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and adventureous nature. He loved hiking, traveling the world, and trying new experiences. Whether through simple acts of service, thoughtful conversations, or steadfast support, he touched the lives of those who knew him.
Heath is survived by his loving partner; his parents; his three sisters; two nieces; and one nephew, all of whom will cherish his memory and the time they shared with him.
Heath’s life will be remembered with gratitude by his family and friends, who find comfort in the memories they shared and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who knew Heath to honor his memory by extending kindness and compassion to others, reflecting the quiet generosity with which he lived his life.
“Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear.” -Alex MacLean
