Funeral Service for Nancy Quinton, 90, of Vian, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Nancy was born on February 23, 1936, in Notchietown, Oklahoma, to Aggie Buster and Charley Wildcat. She passed away on August 7, 2026, in Gore, Oklahoma.

Nancy was united in marriage to George Quinton, who preceded her in death. She worked as a home health aide, where her caring nature allowed her to help and serve others. She was a woman who found joy in the simple things in life, especially caring for her chickens, and Diet Coke was her favorite drink.

Nancy was proud of her Cherokee heritage and was a fluent Cherokee speaker, a gift that reflected her deep connection to her family, culture, and roots. Her heritage was an important part of who she was and a legacy she carried with pride.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Brown and Donna Gremillion of Vian, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Quinton; two sons, Darryl Wayne Buster and Michael Dean Buster; one sister, Annie Bolin; and two brothers, Charlie Buck and Burt James.

Active Pallbearers will be Michael Buster II, Shawn Buster, Jonathan Daily, Kaden Hickelheim, Blake Hickelheim, and John Smith.

Viewing will be from Noon to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, where the family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
