Jack (Boone) Wayne Masters, age 83, of Jay, Oklahoma, entered this world on January 27, 1943, in Claremore, OK to Joe and Zella Masters. He went to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Grove, Oklahoma.
Boone was raised in Whitewater, OK. He attended Grove High School, Grove, OK, and later he served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1974. While in the United States Army Boone received military honors as a sharpshooter and received his National Defense Service Medal.
Boone worked on multiple pipelines and later worked on fiber optics. When at home, he raised cattle and pigs, cut wood, and loved to garden. He was a member of the VFW Post 8380 of Grove, OK, where he enjoyed attending the turkey shoots. Boone loved visiting with his family and friends. He truly loved being around his family; he loved telling stories, jokes, and singing songs. When Boone had downtime, he was watching “Spin the Wheel” and “Come on down”! He was one of a kind, and our Boone will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Boone is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Zella Masters; Aunts, Uncles, and other relatives.
